One of the questions we often get asked by clients is whether they should translate their documents into Mandarin or Cantonese. This question is technically incorrect as Mandarin and Cantonese are spoken languages. The written forms of Chinese are Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
For an audience based in Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Macau, your documents should be translated into Traditional Chinese. On the other hand, if your audience is based in Mainland China, Malaysia or Singapore, your documents will need to be translated into Simplified Chinese.
If you are unsure which version of Chinese you should choose, please feel free to get in touch. Our friendly team is always happy to help.
Our clients praise us for our accurate translations, personable service, and on-time delivery.
